Privacy Policy

What Pars Trade collects, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Pars Trade ("Pars Trade", "we", "us") operates a trading-journal and trader-verification platform at parstrade.pro. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you create an account, sign in (including with Google), use the journal, or apply for verification.

By using the service you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the service.

2. Information we collect

Account information — your first and last name, email address, username and, if you register with a password, a one-way hash of that password (we never store the password itself).

Profile and onboarding answers — trading experience, approximate capital range, primary broker, markets traded, goals on the platform and how you heard about us.

Journal content — trades you record (symbol, direction, risk, result, timing, strategy, tags, notes), daily reviews, checklists, notebook pages, mind maps and any screenshots you upload.

Verification material — answers to screening and assessment questions and any evidence you submit (for example account statements), together with reviewers' decisions about your application.

Technical information — the IP address and basic request data needed to run and protect the service (for example to limit repeated failed sign-ins), and the cookies described in section 7.

3. Google account data

If you choose Continue with Google, we ask Google only for the basic scopes openid, email and profile. From your Google account we receive:

  • your Google account identifier (a stable ID Google assigns to your account);
  • your email address and whether Google has verified it;
  • your name (given and family name) and the URL of your profile picture.

We use this information only to sign you in, to create your Pars Trade account or link Google to an existing account with the same verified email address, and to show your name and picture inside the platform. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, Drive, calendar or any other Google service, and we never receive your Google password.

We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not transfer it to third parties except as required by law or as described in section 5. Pars Trade's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke Pars Trade's access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops future Google sign-ins; it does not delete your Pars Trade account — see section 8 for that.

4. How we use information

  • to create and secure your account and keep you signed in;
  • to provide the journal, analytics and reviews you ask for;
  • to run the verification process, including review by our staff reviewers;
  • to publish a public trader profile only once you have passed screening, limited to the alias, markets and verification details shown on that profile;
  • to send service notifications inside the platform;
  • to detect and prevent abuse, fraud and security incidents;
  • to meet legal obligations.

We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you; verification outcomes are decided by human reviewers.

5. How information is shared

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:

  • with our staff reviewers, to the extent needed to assess a verification application;
  • with infrastructure providers who host and back up the service on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations;
  • publicly, the verified-trader profile described in section 4, once you qualify;
  • when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the service.

6. Storage, security and retention

Data is stored in our database and file storage on servers we control, and in encrypted-in-transit (HTTPS) connections between you and us. Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes; uploaded screenshots and evidence are served only to you and to authorised reviewers.

We keep account data for as long as your account is open. Verification decisions and the audit log of those decisions are kept for as long as needed to keep the verification record trustworthy and to handle appeals. Backups are rotated and expire on a fixed schedule.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users of a breach where the law requires.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use only the cookies the service needs to work — no advertising or third-party tracking cookies:

  • session_token — keeps you signed in; HTTP-only, expires after 7 days or when you sign out;
  • google_oauth — used only during a Google sign-in to protect it against forgery; expires after 10 minutes.

Your browser's local storage is used for interface preferences such as favourite pages and collapsed panels. Clearing it only resets those preferences.

8. Your choices and rights

You can view and update most of your information in Settings. You can also ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct information that is inaccurate;
  • delete your account and associated personal information, subject to records we must keep by law or to preserve the integrity of completed verification decisions;
  • stop processing that is based on your consent.

To make a request, email support@parstrade.pro from the address on your account. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity first.

9. Age requirement

The service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use it, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision; for significant changes we will also notify you inside the platform before they take effect.
